Hunshelf Scarecrow Trail

Saturday 21st June 9am
Throughout the Parish

  • Parish-wide Scarecrow Competition
  • Theme: Green Fest – anything green, anything festival or summer celebrations!
  • Walk/map/guide for those wishing to visit the scarecrows & vote will be made available in the phone box

Green Fest 2025 ~ Our first summer fair!

FREE ENTRY

Sunday 29 June ~ 12 noon – 4pm

At Green Moor Cricket Club, Hill Top Lane, Sheffield, S35 7DW

Live Music ~ Delicious Food ~ Refreshing Bar ~ Curated Stalls ~ Family Games

We’re planning a great day for all the family! Come along to our very first summer fair ~ GREEN FEST!

With your support, we are hoping that Green Fest will become an annual event within the Hunshelf Parish ~ a time for our community & beyond to come together.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR STALL HOLDERS!

If you’re a small business, join us at Green Fest! If you’d like a stall at this years Green Fest then email hunshelfevents@gmail.com for further information.

Craft Stalls: £15 per pitch
Food/Drink Stalls: £30 per pitch
You will have to provide your own table, chair & gazebo (if required, please note this is an outdoor event)
Small businesses will need to provide proof of liability insurance
No access to electrical points

Help us let everyone know about Green Fest! Let us know your Facebook page details & we’ll include you in our posts in the run up to the event. We will also supply you with graphics to use alongside your social media activity to help us promote the event. This will be emailed out to you early May.

CAN YOU HELP?

We are busy behind the scenes organising, but we need more volunteers to ensure the day runs smoothly!

If you can offer any help & support we would welcome it.

  • Could you be a helper on the day?
  • Do you have, or know of a gazebo we could borrow?
  • We are looking for local sponsors & businesses who would like a stall to sell their items, or promote their business

This is our first year but with your help. we hope that it is successful & it can become an annual event on the Hunshelf calendar!

Summer Sea Side Trip – we are looking at hiring a coach (or two) to take families to the seaside.

Bat Walk – September
Following the great feedback we had from our Marvellous Mini Beasts & the real Bat Man Session we held in the Autumn we will be venturing out & about in the late summer in the hope of seeing some real live bats and enjoying a walk all at the same time.
