DON HILL HEIGHT, GREEN MOOR; LOWER MAYTHORN, WHITLEY COMMON
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
An order will be made to close the following from 14 June 2026 for approximately four weeks, the roads being closed on two separate days only sometime during this period:

Don Hill Height from Green Moor Road to boundary. Diversion route via Pea Royd Lane/Hunshelf Road/Manchester Road/Underbank Lane/Tofts Lane/Hunshelf Hall Lane/Green Moor Road

Lower Maythorn from Browns Edge Road to Hogs Close Lane. Diversion route via Browns Edge Road/Windmill Lane/Hey Slack Lane/Slack Top Lane/Hog Close Lane
Reason: carriageway surface dressing and lining works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
HUNSHELF ROAD AND UNDERBANK LANE, STOCKSBRIDGE
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
A notice has been made to introduce the below restrictions, from 21 May 2026 for approximately one week.

Hunshelf Road will be closed for a distance of 30 metres from the junction of Underbank Lane. An alternative route is available via Mucky Lane/Tofts Lane/Underbank Lane

Underbank Lane a 40mph will be introduced for a distance of 100 metres either side of the junction of Hunshelf Road.

BACK LANE, SNOWDEN HILL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
An order will be made to close Back Lane from Cranberry Road to Salter Hill House, from 29 May 2026 for approximately one week.
Reason: Installation of telecoms ducting
An alternative route is available via: Cranberry Road/Mortimer Road/Oxspring Road/Long Lane/Cross Lane
